Review content:
Hired to build a deck. In 3 days his unsupervised crew managed to build a monstrosity that did not pass inspection (part of contract agreement). It took 2 weeks to rebuild according to code - hangers, screws, beam widths, literally 90% of the work was plain wrong. Szymanski fought tooth and nail promising his engineer to sign off on the work. Once that failed he promised to sue the town inspector, proceeded to spew lies and hatred, so we decided to terminate contract just so he would leave the site. Little did we know that he not only changed the grade under the deck so the water now pools by the house but he also crushed the septic while taking out old deck. Let that sink in - he crushed a septic pipe while digging, took it out and did not disclose it... That parting gift flooded our newly built bathroom. So a simple job of "build a deck in a week" turned into a month of drama with Szymanski going full on Jekyll and Hyde once his mistakes were caught and now into having to litigate for the damage.
Belatedly I find out that his crew has been kicked off multiple building sites and he is unhirable in Wyndham, NY.
