Review content:
I didn't know what was wrong with me. Suicadal thoughts came back and I no longer could enjoy food or anything else. I isolated and also hated being alone. I asked my Pastor if he knew of anywhere I can go to get help. I told he had been waiting for me to ask him that question. So I came here to the Center. The family medical leave act (FMLA) allowed me to leave my job without reprecussion and I was able to go on short-term disability pay as well as have my insurance cover the services rendered. Here, I learned how to become aware of what I was feeling and to accept that. The depression, anxiety, and PTSD I developed was a result of the trauma that happened to me. I learned that healing is my responsibilty. During my time here, I've become aware that sadness and anger are emotions that benefit and serve me. I learned how to become sound in my thinking and a healthy individual for my wife and my son. The codependency that I struggled with no longer suffocates them. I now see and believe in my self-worth and can role model that for my family. I highly encourage you to attend this place of hope because You. Are. Worth. It.
