Review content:
The facility is very nice and clean. I enjoyed going to the rehab gym and exercising with therapy. I have built up strength a little more each day. I was admitted to another hospital prior to coming to Kindred and was found to have COVID. I was in ICU and put on a regiment of treatments. I lied in bed for 18 days, so I was worried about regaining strength. I am so happy to have come here to Kindred and regained my strength. The therapy team gave me such encouragement and assured me that I could do it, and that gave me strength. The therapist encouraged me to walk down the long hall. I wasn't sure I could do it but she let me take breaks as needed and always encouraged me. Paul taught me excercises to do while sitting on the edge of the bed and was also a great encouragement. I haven't been hospitalized for over 30 years, so this was hard. The bedside staff have been wonderful and taken such good care of me, especially De. She helped me get my first shower after initially being hospitalized. She was a wonderful blessing, very thoughtful and attentive. I only had an issue one night with a nurse aid, but administration straightened it out right away. Everything has been perfect. The food here is very good and always served hot. I wish all of the staff would receive a blessing for being so kind. Kindness is what patients need, it helps us feel better.
