We were connected with Kastech LLC and Alex K Kassuwi through Select Home Warranty on 03/15/19. He came to diagnose our washing machine and said he needed to order a part and we would need to pay for the part and 50% labor up front ($488.98). We paid through PayPal per his instructions on 03/26/19. We tried to communicate through phone calls, texts, and emails, as well as through our warranty company, but he intentionally did not respond (his texts were on read receipts and were marked as "read"). We had agreed that he would come to make the repair on 4/18/19 but he did not show up. We have a lockbox so he is not limited by our schedule. Now that it is almost 2 months later, we informed him through call, text, and email (4/30/19) as well as in person over the phone that we would like an immediate refund. He promised to refund us on 5/02/19 and never did. We did a quick internet search on him and his business and found multiple reviews that he had done this exact stunt to multiple customers in the past. He also has a closed complaint against his license with the DLLR of Maryland. We tried to give him every chance to refund us or complete the work. Our washing machine is also most likely not broken, and was misdiagnosed by him as well.
