Review content:
I filed a formal complaint against this office with State Farm Headquarters.
I transferred my insurance from Progressive and bundled home, auto, and life insurance with my girlfriend at Youkie Chambers' office. My girlfriend and I were placed with a brand new agent. She wasn't well-versed in insurance, but she was nice and so we were patient.
Fast-forward a couple months and I crashed my Volvo. I called State Farm and they said I had no rental coverage, which was strange, because I specifically requested it. Then I called looking for my adjuster and they told me I had "no collision coverage."
When I was getting insurance, I specifically asked for "full-coverage" insurance for my car; I've had full-coverage the whole time I've owned my vehicle and didn't switch to State Farm to lose that, especially since it was only an extra $20/month. I even quoted the difference in price to the office manager.
I called the office for resolution. The agent we had either quit or was fired. Her recorded phone calls were all conveniently deleted once she was let go. Office management told me I was screwed and that they weren't paying for anything. Cost me THOUSANDS of dollars.
It would have been worth it to stay with my old company and pay a little more for premiums, rather than get completely screwed over by Youkie Chambers office.
