Review content:
I want to share a horrible incident that my family experienced with Green Country Mitsubishi, right here in BIXBY! Saturday, September 23rd.
My mother is almost 81 years old. My dad died 3 weeks before this incident and my mom lost 2/3rds of her income that day. They had been married for over 65 years! He had always provided for her, and now she is left with little to live on.
She went into Bixby’s Mitsubishi car dealership on Saturday, September 23rd looking to reduce her car payment from $380 to around $200 per month. She assured me that she would not buy without my help. She has been overwhelmed with my dad’s death and worrying about how she was going to make it financially. Plus, she’s been dealing with the onset of Alzheimer’s and this extra stress was really weighing heavy on her.
She came home with a MIRAGE! Car Payment = $280 (FOR SEVEN YEARS)! She told me that they paid off her car for her. They didn’t! They rolled the balance onto her new loan! I told her to take the car back Monday morning.
Well guess what?!! Oklahoma does not have a 3 day buyer’s remorse clause. She was screwed! Unless, of course she upgraded to a “bigger and better” car. She asked Paul if she could just have her car back. She was so embarrassed, so sad. She was told no. They had already sold it. Between Saturday at 5 pm and Monday at 8 am. Yep, I didn’t believe it either.
I was told that since I did not have guardianship of her, she can still make her own decisions. Yes, that’s correct, but still guys! She’s 81 and in mourning! Have a heart. They don’t. I am now looking into a conservatorship. Do it people! Your parents still have say-so in their financial matters, but have you to assist them.
Today, October 11th. Her car is now for sale on their lot! CAR SALESMEN ARE LIARS!! I hope Paul, the Manager at Green Country Mitsubishi, never has his mother, wife or daughter taken advantage of!
DON'T LET YOUR PARENTS SHOP HERE!!
