I do not personally recommend that you have your loved one?s remains sent here for embalming or cremation. My personal experience and what I have seen is that the deceased is treated like chattel and not in a respectful manner by the mortuary staff (I can?t speak for all of them, but I have heard of others with similar experiences after this happened). We were asked to dress the body of a friend?s loved one (she couldn?t deal with doing that for her mother) and when we went in to perform this service for the friend, the staff just yanked the sheet covering the naked body off and was kind of rude about it. It?s not that the poor deceased lady had any more pretension of modesty after she passed away, but it would certainly be nice to treat her body in a respectful manner and at least maintain some semblance of dignity even though she was deceased.
