Review content:
I used to be an employee at kindred southwest about four years back. However I have been working with kindred for over 15 years and now I'm retired nurse. I used to work with my doctor, Dr Adams but now I'm his patient, at Southwest. I really have a lot of trust in him as a former colleague and as a patient.
But the care that I received from two techs has been terrific and I feel that they need to be in the spotlight. Beverly and Terry. They really go out of their way to help me from the basic needs to the most difficult request. For example some of the basic things we would do in life I have found it to be quite a difficult task however with their help they have made it very simple. I just wish I could have them at home now after the discharge. The food isn't so great nothing like my own home cooking but suitable for a hospital. Overall the staff has been nice. I see a lot of new faces that work here before during my time. I know nursing isn't the most easiest job in the world but I do admire what they do. The last advice I could give to any nurse is to call for help when lifting heavy items. Never think that you can do it even though you have the power to as it can jeopardize your body and back. Always remember to be kind to all of those that you take care of!
