Review content:
I went here years ago to have some paperwork filled out for my employer. Easy peasy, and I was paying cash. Everything was great about my visit, EXCEPT that my doc (proprietor Matt Bruckel) was rude the entire time. \r \r ...so I leave them a 3-star ""eh"" review on Yelp, and this little boy absolutely loses his cool and proceeds to call me from his personal cell one evening, doing everything he can to get me to take down the review. Not happening; he made himself look 10x worse than he did during my visit. \r \r A few months ago, despite my better judgement, I decided to give these guys a second chance when I'd had enough of my stomach bug symptoms after 5 days of misery, and wanted to see if anything could be done. Again, everything about my visit was great except one part. This time, I was paired with Heidi Wolfe. Everything was great until I was told I was going in for a CT scan. ...for a stomach virus? Do you think I'm stupid? I told them no (politely!!!), and her assistants insisted. I said I'd look at my insurance book of benefits and find out the cost. I pulled it up on my phone and saw I would be on the hook for my CYD ($350) +15%. Uhh...absolutely NOT. \r \r Heidi comes back in and swears until she is blue in the face that I will NOT have to pay my CYD. In fact, even paying 15% of the cash price ($600--or $90 being 15%) was far more than my liability. ""Listen, we will do the right clicks in billing to make sure this isn't a problem."" ""Right clicks in billing,"" She repeated ad nauseum, even though she didn't even work in billing in the first place! ""Even if they did try to get you to pay that much, we would submit it for a [something] to [something] review."" \r \r ...so guess who was right? My insurance book of benefits, of course. I've paid this $400 bill fair and square. \r \r Back when Bruckel called me years ago, one of the things he tried to admonish me for was not giving him the chance to fix the issues before going public. So, I gave him a little warning this time on Yelp, that if he didn't fix his employee's billing mistake, the price he would pay was me going public, not just on Yelp, but everywhere. \r \r He begged me to remove my first review, and now he blew his chance to avoid my second one. Good job. This frivilous CT scan sure wasn't worth $333.13, but infuriating him through a 100% honest review sure was. Thanks for the closure, and enjoy my four hundred bucks.
