They installed the blowing unit incorrectly and the didn't catch upon installation that I needed some duct work modification. They refuse to make it right. For over a year of them coming out and tweaking the unit they never addressed the real issue. It was only after I called the manufacturer of the Geo Thermal Unit and a manufacture rep and the owner of Baker came out did they admit the issues. Even at that point they refuse to make it right. I have a letter from the manufacturers rep outlining the problem one of which is the blower unit was installed incorrectly and that the duct work has some turn issues as well as size issues. I had two other companies out and both companies agree that if done on install it would have been $1000-$2000 to fix but now it will be closer to $8-$10K because they would have to take out the blower unit and start all over. Baker refuses to address the issue at all! The problem is I paid a TON of money for the GEO thermal to reduce my energy bills and in fact they are the same. I am freezing because I have to keep the house at 62-65 to afford the electric bill because the unit runs on emergency heat because it is starving for air because the incorrect install. The blower unit will also not last as long because it isn't operating properly. The owner cussed at me when I questioned him. He said, "I don't give a ... what anyone else says. I feel because I am a female they are taking advantage of not making this right. - The BBB has tried to contact David Baker and he has refused to speak with the Mediator from The BBB!!! Why because he is GUILTY!!! This will all be able to be verified on The BBB as soon as The BBB works through the next steps of Arbitration
