Devito Roofing installed a new roof and gutter system 6 months ago at our property in Baltimore City. The gutter on the front of our house was not pitched correctly and, despite many calls, texts, and emails over the past 6 months, Devito Roofing still refuses to fix their work. (Yes, we sent them pictures.)
Instead of draining to the downspout, the water spills over the side of the gutter and along the front of the house. It essentially serves no purpose other than aesthetics because it doesn't carry the water to the drain/downspout. The water hits our heads when we go through the door to the house because it is spilling over the front instead of draining to the downspout. When it was cold, huge icicles formed right over the door because of this pitch problem.
They also have yet to caulk the metal fascia they installed that goes underneath our roof line, so air, water, and debris gets into our house. Pests can enter into our house through these openings that they have yet to close.
Every time we have contacted them, they have said they will come out next week, and then the next, and the next, and so on. And then they just stopped responding. They do not stand by their work or provide good customer service.
We do not recommend their services to anyone. They are also not licensed to do any home improvement work in Maryland (search their website and the DLLR yourself). DO NOT HIRE DEVITO ROOFING.
