Navigating the world of laser hair removal can be tricky. Many businesses overcharge, have under-experienced staff, subpar machines, and gimmicks galore.
Unfortunately, I went through two different laser hair removal centers before finding Perfect Body Laser in Bay Shore, and lost a lot of money along the way.
I finally found the right place. The prices are better than ANY OTHER LASER CENTER on Long Island (trust me, I have done my research). Especially when you compare the lasers they use to others (like the ones the Groupon people offer).
Nikki, the Manager (a Master Aesthetician) and my specialist, is a no-frills, straightforward, experienced, knowledgeable, and HONEST person. The assistant staff is professional and friendly, facility is neat and clean, and equipment is state-of-the art. You never have to wait, as long as you arrive on time for your appointment.
Most importantly, the results have been great. I had thick, black hair and had to shave daily because it was so unsightly. After only ONE treatment, upon regrowth of the hair (which took about 4 weeks), it was already thin and spuratic. I've done 7 more treatments after that and am almost done. I finally feel free! I can do simple things like tie my hair back, or get close to people without feeling self-conscious!
