I can't comment on the work, but I can attest to their attitude and reluctance to work with locals. My mom made 3 phones call to have work done in her home. She's elderly so needed someone to help with a plumbing problem. NOT ONE call was ever returned. My brother moved in after dad passed away and needed help with basement plumbing of a toilet. Again, all calls went unreturned. We've not been able to get them to do plumbing work, here, either, or our furnace work. Eventually, a friend traced down the problem to an igniter, but we found that Valley will not sell parts, either. so what DO they do? They don't do work for individuals (unless they pass Valley's rigorous customer approval process maybe?) and they don't sell parts so those individuals can get the work done themselves. When you do contact them, they are arrogant and dismissive. To add insult to injury, along with the bad attitude, they are far more expensive. If they are concerned about competition, look no further. ... has them beat. Which is where we got our furnace part with no fuss, no arguments and no arrogance. I'd give them less than a 1 star but there isn't a lower choice. guess it pays to shop outside of town!
