Review content:
probably did not need an expensive replacement of Throttle-Body but Mass AirFlow sensor replacement (no service/labor charge for this as preceding recommended throttle-body replacement did not solve problem) ultimately solved mysterious hiccupping engine. my plan is to think of any repair in terms of "how many monthly payments on a new car would that be?" and figure that i can break even on my 1998 audi w 217,00mi wo buying a new car and being stuck w 4-5 yrs of paymenmts. car is running like new now after it sat comatose for about 8 months waiting for my back to get well enough to get in low and work the clutch. audi dealer not very helpful or friendly as they seem to just sneer at my old car and want to sell me a new one. maybe they think if you have a "luxury brand" car then you don't care how much repairs and maintenance cost. much happier w Scheller.
