Review content:
This is a sit down and enjoy the evening kind of place, with a warm, pleasant atmosphere and excellent dining.
Reservations are recommended. Upon arrival, you are presented with a couple of books of matches with the name of your party printed in gold letters on the front of the match books.
The restaurant itself contains two large dining areas and a bar. The service at the bar is prompt and cordial, and the waitstaff is always charming. We have been there many times and never had any issues with the service.
There is a salad bar, featuring fresh greens, assorted toppings, several well chilled dressings , soup and fresh bread. However, the hot fresh bread brought to the table with the sweet butter is a real treat that I will bypass the bread at the salad bar for the bread at the table.
The wine list is very good. Ive had the house wine by the glass often and the merlot is a fine, full bodied wine that goes well with the beef dishes we come here to enjoy.
My favorite here i
