We had our lab seen at Ramsey Animal Hospital for 2 years and we thought all was fine. Until she was having a hard time walking. We took her in twice and on the second visit after the first medication they gave us didn't work, they took x-rays. After looking at the x-rays they said it may be a pinched nerve or bone spur, but her spinal column looked WONDERFUL for a dog of her age. They gave us 5 days worth of an anti-inflammatory drug, Rymidol. 6 days later, she could not walk at all! We got her records and x-rays from Ramsey and took her to another vet for 2nd opinion. That 2nd vet (Animal Wellness Center in Maple Grove) took one look at the x-rays that Ramsey took and knew it was not good. There was arthritis in her spine, an almost completely blocked spinal cord and after a quick exam, found a large mass in her hind leg. And the worst part about it was that our dog was in pain. Ramsey didn't do a through enough physical exam to even find the mass or determine that she was in horribl
