I bought a car for my daughter about 40 days ago. Yesterday, as she is getting on the turnpike, her power steering goes out and smoke billows from under the hood. We have the car towed, ($160+), to BelleTire where we discover the recently replaced, (not by me), power steering pump was missing a hose. I asked if it was aloose hose or missing. Answer, missing, no clamp marks on the hose. So, I stopped to talk to Tom Cater about it tonight. After I told him the above he told me, "I'll give you $100" "If that isn't good enough you can leave withnothing". Wow, thank you for being so generous... My daughter wasjust stranded on the turnpike, she missed work, tow fee and Belle Tire cost. I told him I thought it should be $250 and he said "Leave". At this point Tom Jr. got aggressive and stood with his nose 1/2" from mine. I said he should back up andhis respones..."F you!"
