I have purchased some hardwood flooring from terrys The whole process was like sqeeling nails across a chalkboard. The sales guy got very defensive when I said I was shopping around. Well I did go back to terry's and purchase my flooring based only on the fact that they did have the least lead time to get the installation done. When I did make my purchase the salesman was very smug and made trhe remark " I told you we were the best deal ". In fact I based my decision on the lead time and not the deal. They were really no cheaper than anyone else. Needless to say I wish I could have waited for a better installer. They ruined my floor by not getting the boards tight together and there are some that are bowed from apparently getting wet at some point. Rather than get some extra flooring they tried to cover it up and put one here and one there so now instead of one problem area the ugly boards are spread out all over the floor and they are noticeable.
