I have never encountered a more courteous and friendly staff (front desk, porters, housekeepers, doormen, et al) at any hotel; they really made us feel welcome. The front desk staff upgraded us (at no additional cost & because of Priority Club membership) to a full-view room with balcony after we complained that the partial-view room we initially had was not what the website reservation had promised us. The room was clean & nicely appointed. My only complaint would be that they charge a $10 resort fee to use the beach equipment & the pool. If you're going to charge me for it anyway, just roll it into the cost of the room. Don't pitch it to me like I have a choice to decline it. Overall, it's a great hotel with an art deco feel but that isn't as small as one of the art deco hotels on Ocean Drive. Pros: Staff, Rooms, Pool & beach
