What they don't tell you in their commercials is that the $69 drain clean special is only if your drain is not clogged. That's right. I called John Moore for a clogged toilet. The John Moore repairman came and quoted me a price of $132. I asked about the ""Famous John Moore Drain Clean Special"" of $69 and was told that the special is not for drains that are already clogged. It is to check your drain, but not clean your drain if it is already stopped up. He then told me that I really need their $369 drain inspection that uses a small camera to go into the drain and look for clogs. I turned it down. Then he took a tool with pinchers on one in, stuck it in the toilet and removed a piece of plastic. It took all of 20 seconds and I was out $132. Their work was good, but their advertising message is a scam which isn't needed and just makes for an angry customer. John Moore, just be honest with your advertising.
