Having your sewer line replaced can be a nightmare, but with Alan and the guys at A-1 it was a dream. The sewer backed up on Friday afternoon right before Shabbos, and they snaked it out free to hold us till Monday. We were having a family of 7 staying over and no working toilet--not a pleasant thought. We had a crumbling retaining wall, and hardscaping and their backhoe operator was a true artist. He did not knock ONE loose brick out of place! They had to dig down 10 feet and when they were done with the part of the line I was responsible for they saw that the Baltimore County connection was non functional for about 5 feet. Instead of just quitting and saying, "we're done with our part, now call the county to fix theirs," they just went ahead and dug and replaced 5 more feet of pipe and didn't charge me a cent..Wow! Saved me an unbelievable headache. They cleaned up after the job- no mud or dirt anywhere except where it was supposed to be and even came back again to re-sculpt an area
