This was a last-minute booking, secondary to forecasted bad weather, so we left the evening before our scheduled appointment at Drake University. We arrived just after 1 am, and was met by a very cordial and friendly staff member to check us in. Check in was promptly executed and detailed directions with a map to our room were provided. Room was easy to find and noteably quiet. Ample parking around property. Room was obviously recently redecorated; both bathroom and sleeping areas were clean and well-appointed. Beds very extremely comfortable with fluffy new pillows. no sign of bedbugs or other vermine. Free breakfast buffet consisted of hot and cold items, including waffles, sausage patties, bisquits and gravy, a variety of bread items, hot and cold beverages. Needless to say, my 17 year old happily filled his plate with all he wanted. Utilized the hot tub/pool/sauna are-kept nice and clean. Plenty of large towels in room, though. Check-out was automatic. Location was easy to get to, a few miles straight off of the expressway toward the airport. I would utilize this venue again with any future visits.
