Review content:
I was pulled over in December of 2010 for Driving Under Restraint, Driving without Insurance, Driving without Driver License, and failure to obey a traffic signal. My license was suspended due to the fact that I did not keep SR-22 insurance for the required 3 years after a DUI in 2006. I spoke to several attorneys as I did not want to lose my license further or face jail time. The consensus from the first 4 attorneys that I talked to was that I absolutely needed representation. Additionally, payment was required up front, so that they could get the discovery and advise me further. None of the first 4 offered me any advice. Luckily, Rhidian from The Orr Law Firm called me back. He definitely knew the law better than the other 4 I talked to. He advised me that I should get my license reinstated and show up at the arraignment with my license, and that there was a chance I could get the charges reduced to a 0 point, non moving violation. After following Rhidian's instructions, this is exactly what happened at my arraignment. I left the courtoom, paid $107.50 to cover fines and court costs, and was done with the matter. No loss of license. No jail time. No attorney fees. The other attorneys that I had talked to were asking for anywhere from $850 to $1500 to handle the case. When I spoke to Rhidian, he advised that The Orr Law Firm was a little more expensive, but that he thought I should go to the arraignment without representation to see what I could get done on my own, and that if they did not offer me a 0 point violation, that I should call him back. Rhidian took the time to explain my options to me, discuss the facts and the law, and provided me with free advice that was above and beyond what any of the other money hungry attorneys would give. Rhidian also expressed a willingness to work with me on the rate, if I was able to get my license reinstated. I honestly wish that I had known about The Orr Law Firm when I got my DUI in 2006. I would have hired them without question. I recommend them at the highest level for any offenses similar to mine. As far as law firms go, I couldn't have been more impressed. To Rhidian and The Orr Law Firm - thank you! You saved me $1,000+.
