When the technician arrived I was told that it would cost $500.00 to clean out the single sewage pipe I needed cleaned (NOTE: the clean out is located outside the house). I didn't think I should have to pay more than $40 or $50 to have this simple task done. I told the technician that I would have to call someone else in because it was too expensive. That is when he decided to go with the lower cost. In the end he agreed to do the work for $100.00 even though I had a $50.00 certificate form the news paper.
It seems that everyone that services this area where I live charges much more because of the location. I believe that everyone should be charge and treated equal and maybe add in a cost for distance traveled, to make up the time it takes to get to a specific location.
The next time I have a sewage issue or need work done I will cali in three companies for bids.
