Clearly, the reviews for Renaissance Club Sport in Walnut Creek are written by club owners and workers - just as all reviews usually are, hello? So here's the real scoop from a member since it opened about 6 years ago or so. The monthly cost for a single is $130/month. Despite numerous requests for new classes or services to keep things fresh - they never do. What they need is an Event Manager that can build some culture/climate/commraderie in the club - it is nonexistent. The only reason I have stayed is because it has a pool and holds good hours - but that's about it. Every service is charged here above and beyond the exorbitant monthly fee of $130. They don't allow free guests nor do they ever offer to help you establish a workout routine - this is provided only when you join - so I guess they figure that routine should last you your entire life. : ) If you want a fitness routine you'll need to hire a personal trainer for $100 - I don't think so.
