Scammers...I went it to buy 4 new tires and the guy behind the counter goes out to look at the tires. Tells me he needs to install new shocks and alignment or he wont warranty the tires. I had the car state inspected just 2 weeks before and the mechanic at the dealership told me everything was fine, except I might need new tires soon. This sales guy at Pep boys told me the shocks were bad. I called the Toyota dealership that inspected my car and stopped by on my way to work to have them look at the shocks. They told me they were OK and seems Pep Boys was just trying to inflate the bill. Bottom line...they are scammers. AVOID!
