What can be said. I have visited maybe a dozen home depot stores and expected the usual uneducated, disgruntled employees; If they were knowledgeable enough to be helpful to someone shopping at home depot they would be overqualified to hold that kind of job. So there was no surprise there. Just like every other home depot, they carry pretty much every material and tool one could expect in very disorganized stock shelves. But what I should have expected but didn't think about was how crowded and poorly laid out the store is. \r

It is in Manhattan where real estate is at a premium and in order to keep prices reasonable the store could not be a normal size, but that's the thing-THE PRICES AREN'T VERY REASONABLE. I have not been to the store on 23rd st yet but I don't expect much better. If you want to go to this store, know exactly what you want before you get there, don't expect any real help from the employees and plan on spending some time searching around to find what you are looking
