Review content:
Many years ago I found a reliable AC service company call Florida Heating and Air. I continued using them until their quality of service became too low to consider. That's when I found out I was no longer dealing with the same company.
A few years ago, I saw a newspaper ad for Engineered Air, stating they are the original FHAC. I kept that nugget tucked away. That summer my compressor broke. I got some estimates, but they were high, would take days till they could get to me and most sold off brand units.
Then I remembered Engineered Air. Get this -- they arrived within the hour, gave me a fair quote for a Carrier unit AND sent someone out with a portable AC unit for our bedroom so we could get thru the weekend - no charge! They set it up, sealed up the window and we had our igloo for the weekend. Who does that? I thought it was awesome service!
I had an issue with the unit about two years later and they sent someone out to replace the fan the same day, NO CHARGE!.
I strongly recommend Engineered Air to anyone who mentions AC issues. Don't get burned in Florida!
