Review content:
The owner's hands on approach is very refreshing, compared with other auto repair establishments in this city. He actually takes time out of his busy schedule to get to know the customer. Having moved to San Antonio just in he last two years (lived in Dallas for over 35 yrs.), I was reluctant to try a new auto repair facility upon Discount Tire's recommendation. I had been using a foreign auto repair shop I found on line and after doing a little research. They had taken care of some minor repairs (brakes and headlights) satisfactorily, but I thought their prices were pretty high. I had been looking around for another primary care facility, when Discount Tires suggested Chad Miller Auto Care.
I knew I had some major problems going on in the front end of my car after a road trip I took to Dallas last week. I went back to Discount Tires for a consult, because that is where I had bought two new tires in March. They had already rotated the tires once already. I am surprised that Discount did not say anything to me about the condition of my Volvo's front end when they installed the new tires. Anyway, Chad's technicians found the problems and showed me digital photos of the areas of concern. Problems were repaired and done right.
After 130,000 miles, (2002 Volvo S60 turbo) things are bound to need attention. I had been delaying the major things, (since I drive a lot less since moving here) but took care of minor regular service issues like oil/filter changes, etc...After my first experience with Chad Miller Auto Care, I feel comfortable going back for other service, which I know will be needed in the near future.
