Worst kennel ever.\r \r My wife and I are having a baby in a few months and plan on boarding our dogs while we're in the hospital. I had heard negative reviews about Brickyard Kennel but that they had recently cleaned up their act. We both had to go out of town for an evening and decided we would give Brickyard Kennel a try to see if we'd feel comfortable leaving them there when the baby comes. I was told that our dogs would be able to play with other dogs for the majority of their stay. What we were told couldn't be farther from the truth. \r \r We used the camera service to keep an eye on the dogs and not once did we see any staff member interacting with them. When 9:30 am rolled around and my wife hadn't seen any sign of the dogs she called in to Brickyard Kennel and was told that dogs go into their kennels at 4 PM and are only taken out again at 10 AM. That's right, they spend 18 hours in their kennels. My wife expressed her concern about them being left in their kennel for so long, and was told that our dogs would be brought out to play with the other dogs that came in for day care starting at 10:00. My wife kept an eye on them and they weren't actually brought out to play with other dogs until close to noon. I'm sorry but they would have been better off if we had just left them at home and had someone come play with them. They may have done some updating and remodeling at the facility, but it's still as shabby of a service as it ever was.
