Businiess name:  Mr Rooter Plumbing

This company serviced our main service line in January of this year. In a little under 6 months we were having the same issue. Had it done 11 years ago by ..... so it lasted 11 years and this one only lasted 6 months. Called Mr Rooter in January by mistake. So called them to come back out and service our drain again on Monday night since they did it in January. The girl we spoke with offered to have someone out that night. The issue wasn't that bad so we scheduled the appointment for Tuesday night. They agreed to rod the line for half price since we had just had it done. My husband explained that they would need a line at least 125 feet (normal city drain in a newer neighborhood). The worker came to our house on Tuesday night to do the work. Unfortunately his line to rod the drain was less than 100 feet. We had to reschedule again for the next day. At that time they wanted to charge us $49 for them coming out (even though they didn't have the proper equipment (no extensions) when they came after being told it would be needed to do the job. Today after 6 pm we received a call from the general manager. Dan was the general manager (wouldn't give his last name) and told us that the cost would be $200 (we only paid $267 the first time) which was worked out 2 days prior. We asked him why he would wait until after the tech was supposed to be here to call us and raise the price. As well as now it is after hours for us to call another company. Dan was very unpleasant and said that the job could end up costing us 6 to 8,000 for them to repair the pipes. This is interesting to hear because as I went to enter my review I saw a review of an employee who said he quit this job because of unethical processes of ripping off customers. We just called .... and their router goes 200 feet (wish would have called them the first time as we probably wouldn't be having this issue now.) STAY clear of this company, Dan said they don't do any warranties and sounds like they don't have proper equipment either
