I was looking for a new vet in the area because I was sick of feeling like I was being charged exorbitant prices and forced to buy expensive tests for my dog. From the minute I walked into Patton, I felt at home! It is a beautiful and very clean facility.It has a nice waiting area. It doesn't smell like animals, unlike some vet offices. The front desk staff are fairly friendly. What I was most impressed with was the ability of the vet tech who handled my dog. My dog is not the best with other people, however, Jonna was able to pick her right up! The other vet threatened that my dog would have to be quarantined if they were bitten and they put a muzzle on her without even trying to let the dog get to know them. I am SO much happier with Patton. Dr. Schmidt was fantastic to the dog and us. He listened to our questions. He didn't treat us like we were stupid. He taught us things in a non-condescending manner and most importantly, gave us options! My dog has allergies. The other vet said c
