Review content:
The handyman came and utilized a huge number of labor hours to repair a wooden fence needed fixing. Quality work, but extremely slow. Instead of repairing the fence utilizing many unneeded labor hours, he could have replaced much of the fence, utilizing more materials and less labor. I wish that had been vocalized. Before the project was done :( RESPONSE FROM HANDYMAN MATTERS INC: At Handyman Matters we strive to perform quality workmanship in an efficient manner. In some cases the labor component of our projects is greater in a repair scenario, however because the material costs are minimized the overall cost of the project is lower. This was the clients original goal and requested a repair, not a replacement. We often provide recommendations, but always take the clients ultimate goal into consideration when doing so. Since the client wished to keep costs to a minimum (in other words, do it the cheapest way possible) we repaired the fence. Now the client wishes he had made a different choice and not opted for the cheapest route. We did our job correctly and wish the client would recognize this fact
