We had Robert come out to work on some dry-rot repair and flat roof-coating, and were so happy with his work that we hired him again to do more things around the house: install an over-the-range smoke vent, put in a whole-house ceiling fan, find some old hidden wiring and install a light, and climb up on the steep roof and put in an attic vent. All these things came to $1200, which was VERY reasonable. We had planned to do all these things ourselves EVENTUALLY, but after 10 years of living here, we hadnt' gotten to them, so it was time to hire someone- and since it was such a great value, we did. I also realized that although we could have done the work ourselves, Robert did a much better job, in part from having the experience of doing all this work before and knowing how best to do things. So take it from a do-it-yourselfer: sometimes it's worth it to just hire someone to do it for you! Also our two little kids are now members of the Robert fan-club, and are asking when he'll be back. Just might be soon, since we have plenty more that should be done! Also Leslie who answers phones and does scheduling is very helpful and friendly- definitely also an asset to the company!
