Mr. Bartlett was very sweet over the phone. He was encouraging during our phone interview, and he knew I was shopping around for the right attorney. He was available anytime I needed him, or whenever I had a question. Further,he went to the county jail to meet with our loved one. Time for court --the outcome was more tragic than we anticipated, and Mr. Bartlett was no where to be found after. \r We paid a lot of money (cash, up-front) for Mr. Bartlett to have the case for less than 3-weeks, one court appearance and limited phone calls. Time is money, after all. \r I am upset with this attorney because there is no way his "time-billed" would have equaled the amount we paid. It would have been more professional of him to handle all the paper-work after the case and use the left-over funds to cover his expenses. It's disgusting that families fork out money for their loved one's, and have to deal with "lawyers" being greedy. \r \r I am a pre-law student. I fully know what Mr. Bartlett and his
