I've read some of the recent reviews of Doc Ables and I was very surprised at the negative remarks. I've been a long time customer and I've found their service to be very honest and exemplary. They have never tried to mislead me into getting mechanical services that I really didn't need (unlike some other unscrupulous shops) and in fact have steered me away from unnecessary work. A few years ago, I moved out to the Northwest suburbs and went to other nearby garages, but I find myself driving the 45 minutes to go back to Doc Ables to get work done on my car. The way I figure it, I've found a place I can trust to treat me fairly so I'm going to continue to give them my business!
