Review content:
I have used B & L Plumbing approximately 6 times over the course of 3 years, mostly for an ejector pump in my basement but also for my garbage disposal and refridgerator. All of my experiences had been satisfactory although I was left wondering if I was getting a competitive price. This last time (Jan '08) I had them come out because my ejector pump, which I purchased from them 18 months ago, was not working. The plumber first diagnosed it as a problem with the float and said that part would need to be replaced, or at the worst the whole pump would need to be replace again. Upon further questioning I found that he hadn't even moved the dryer (my teenaged children really should've done this like I asked) to get to the pump. Basically, he diagnosed it without actually looking at it. In the end, my four year old had flushed a rag, which had stopped up the pump and constricted the float. He cleaned it out and it was fine. I no longer feel comfortable with their services.
