I was looking for a stylist that had experience with transitioning hair. I am 9 months into my transition. I found Phyl New Hair Salon online. I called and spoke with Phyllis the owner.. She was very open and honest with me. I told her about my concerns. She met my needs and concerns with real information that I could wrap my head around. She spoke of healthy hair and familiar products. I made the appointment for the following day with a stylist named Shae. Shae was on time at 9am on a Saturday morning. Shae was very personable and professional. She informed me of all of her movements concerning my hair before she did it. I am very pleased with my trim, color and style. I made a follow up appointment. Ladies I am Very, very picky about my hair. My former stylist for about 20 years was great but he refused to keep his license current therefore he lacked the skills for today's styles. He CAN NOT do my hair anymore (because of trust issues). But, Shae and the ladies of Phyl New Hair Salon CAN. I wasn't there for an extremely long time and I felt like a priority to my stylist. I love my texture and healthy hair. If you're looking for a Salon and Stylist call Phyl New and get to know the New You from the crew at Phyl New Hair Salon. You won't be sorry.
