I have a little shih-tzu named PJ. She was first diagnosed with Adrenal Cancer on June 3, 2008. Her Doctor referred me to Animerge for a consultation. I met with Dr. Collins and she was wonderful!!! I was terrified about my baby's condition and what would happen to her. Dr. Collins explained everything to me in great detail and spent alot of time with PJ and I and put us at ease. PJ had her Adrenalectomy on June 18. 2008. The entire Animerge staff was so wonderful. PJ and I went back to Animerge for 2 years for PJ's cancer screenings. Then on June 14, 2010 we found out that PJ's cancer was back. We were devistated. Dr. Collins performed an exploritory surgery, but PJ's tumor could not be removed. Dr.Collins has never given up on PJ and she is always comming up with new ideas of how to make PJ's life better. That was 1 1/2 years ago.
