My cat was sick with a urinary issue - Vet closed. I went to Animerge because I didn't want to risk him not being treated until morning. We called ahead and were told that they could not advise us over the phone, we'd have to come in. They further said that "Walking in" incurrs a $110.00 charge before the pet is even seen. We arrived and there was 1 pet being seen ahead of us. We waited. They finished with that pet in about 45 minutes. We still waited. Someone finally emerged from the back and put us in an exam room, examed the cat and left. We waited. A doctor came in. examed the cat. Yup. Urinary problem. OK. Well, they have to keep the cat overnight and handed me an "estimate" of between $730 and $810 - and they want 80% up front! OUCH! Talk about having you over a barrel!! In their behalf, the people are polite and seem to care about the animals. Just make sure you have a small fortune in the cookie jar in-case you ever have to go there. PROS: People seem genuine
