Review content:
I went with Bell Plumbing because of their reputation of excellence. My experience is far from that. I had a small pin-hole leak in our hot water pipe in the basement. A plumber from Bell came out to fix the issue. He found the leak and cut out the leaking section and soldered in an 8-10" section. He charged me $528 for that repair. A repair that took him about 20 minutes. That's over $1000/hour for a plumber. Then a week later we noticed that the pipe was still leaking and had to have him return to complete the job he was hired to fix in the first place. This time he found another leak 12" away. He did the same repair as he did the first time on the new leak and this time wanted to charge me $146. I refused to pay because I felt he should of caught the full problem the first time he was there, specially for the price I paid. He ended waiving the charge saying well call it under warranty, after I complained. His response was, the water was shut off, so I couldn't see the other leak. So Bell plumbing doesn't verify it's fixed after they turn the water back on? I understand mistakes happen, but live up to your reputation for making it right. Also, I don't understand the huge difference in price for the same task.
