Review content:
Drain Pro Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning removed our old furnace, installed a new high efficiency furnace, and added a forced air vent in our kitchen.
Removal of the old furnace went very smooth, including capping off the chimney vent so it only services the hot water heater (since the new furnace is direct vent). Installation of the new furnace went smooth, including putting in a small water pump for the condensation. The only real issue was what wall to put the air intake and air vent. Lastly, the addition of the forced air vent in the kitchen went very smooth. The 3 new pipes in our laundry room were installed very smoothly - they are as out of the way as possible. I'm impressed.
The overall process was really good. Kevin, the main Boise heating and cooling tech that worked with us came to the house and gave me the estimate. I really liked his attitude, and how he treated me. While his estimate wasn't the lowest bid (I got 2 other bids), it was competitive, and I liked the other things Drain Pro Plumbing Boise was offering - a guarantee for the work, along with the guarantee by the furnace manufacturer (Lennox). I was very happy with my decision to choose Greenwood.
The work was done by 2 workmen. It took 1 full day. I was very happy with how it turned out. Everything was installed very cleanly, and it looks very good. The room it was installed in has many pipes visible, and his addition looks very smooth compared to the existing ones.
My only complaint (very small) was that the cleanup could have been a little better (I give them an A- on that). Overall, I would recommend them to anyone in Boise or Meridian looking for a solid heating and cooling service company.
