They are very thorough, and the vet was very gentle in terms of his approach. My husband took our dog in, and he'd been giving our dog a lot of treats. The vet explained why certain foods weren't good for our dog -- he said, "It's okay to give them treats once in a while, but you have to incorporate that into the regular food that you feed them, because dogs' stomachs don't fare so well if you give them too much variety." So he'd listened to my husband and he understood that my husband wanted to give our dog treats, and he found a way to incorporate that into our dog's diet. That was important.
He's also a good and very thorough doctor!
