I went to S & S Transmission about a month and a half ago after a series of problems I ran into while trying to work with a competing transmission service. My experience with Joe at S & S Transmission was awesome!
Joe helped me with a transmission rebuild on 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500. His job was excellent and I'd recommend his service to anyone. I actually just towed a car to Florida, from Connecticut, with my truck, and had no problems at all!
How would I describe Joe? Let's see, he explained everything, he was friendly, knowledgeable, very meticulous, and more than anything, honest. He actually saved all the parts after the job was done, including the cannisters of transmission fluid, so I could know exactly what he did during the service. He explained all the pieces that were broken. He even put things under my truck that had been installed incorrectly from other services into the correct place. He has competitive prices, and to top that, he offers a two year, 24,000 mile warranty. I have already recommended him!
