I used AmeriSpec Inspection Services for my first home inspection, so I had nothing to compare it to. I felt the person who did the inspection, I think his name was Eric, explained everything clearly. He did a good, thorough job of looking at the different areas of the house.
I was a little fearful at first because I've heard that general inspections can be very simplified. But the inspector pointed out a number of concern areas for the old house I was looking at, which led me not to buy it. I really appreciated knowing what I was getting into.
I considered doing some comparison shopping, and I even made a couple phone calls. But I was happy overall with the results and my experience with AmeriSpec. Everything was done professionally and efficiently, which I really appreciated. I would use them again!
