My father s stuck on Metalink, and now I am and it has been the exact same thing for both of us. They start you off, and service is spotty (which is normal, it's wireless), but it works. Go a few months down the pipe and your download speeds go haywire, and the upload drops to Kbps when it should be Mbps. Not only that, I have connected my computer directly to the modem, bypassing the router, and there is ZERO change. MetaLink, may have nice employees, but corporate is just twisting whatever money they can get out of you. Also, if I wanted to switch to a cable ISP, I can't because MetaLink has my area under their control. A class action lawsuit needs to be started and this business shut down.
