I made the mistake of hiring Cross Town Movers to move an antique grand piano for us. Pianos are tough to move, so we called around and check on them repeatedly and felt they were our safest bet. This was a big mistake.\r

They showed up with 3 staff to move the piano out of a single-story house. They were told time and time again that they were moving it into a 2 story house, into the upstairs. They showed up to deliver the piano with 2 people, claiming that they had no idea it would be a difficult move, and that they needed 3 people for this job. They then decided that 3 people couldn't do it safely, and that they'd need to hold us up for a lot of additional money for equipment and additional manpower. I asked them why they thought they'd only show up with 2 people when they had needed 3 to get it out of a single story house, but they didn't answer.\r

They then got their boss on the phone, who told me in a belligerent tone "we need to get this thing off our truck". I asked why the
