Dealing with Survival Products has always been a pleasant, helpful experience. I can't say enough about the personal service that their excellent staff gives. Last week I took my kayak pedal mechanism into their Salisbury shop because one of the rubber paddles had fallen off of its metal bar (after 5 yrs. of use, incidentally). One of the staff members found a loose screw (that I wasn't able to see). He removed part of the assembly to get to the screw, tightened it, and reassembled. That was all it took, but Survival did not charge for the repair. Nor would the staff member take a thank you gratuity.
I bought my Hobie Island Adventure 5 yrs. ago from Survival Products. They delivered it to water near my home in Ocean Pines and gave me a lesson. The delivery and lesson were free. The Hobie is an engineering marvel - well constructed down to the last detail. I highly recommend both the product and the company.
