Review content:
Larry Bertrand, manager of Stateline Speedway doesn't have management skills. He is supposed to be running a race track, but neither he nor the flagman know what the flags mean. They throw flags for the racers and then tell them it means something entirely different than it means. If anyone challenges him regarding this, he suspends them for life which includes not being able to go to the track and watch the races. Money talks at this track...as long as you have money and put money in his pocket you are a favorite and can get away with anything, including dumping cars illegally, not following rules, illegal cars, etc. Track has gone downhill since he began running it and the other owners don't seem to care. People are assuming they are just using the track for a tax writeoff. Larry also has a racing school, but uses the cars or lets other people use the cars to race at other tracks but closes stateline speedway at those times so racers lose out on racing those days. He raised the price to get into watch the racers, raised the prices on concessions, but lowered the payouts to the drivers so only the top 5 get paid in which the payouts start at like $50 down to $10.00. The other drivers get nothing anymore but have to pay quite a bit to get in to drive as well as pay an insurance fee which is useless. He has also started charging the drivers a fee for each class they driver in. Used to be they only had to pay one time and could drive in any class. It is too bad that the track has gone downhill so badly as it used to be fun to go out and watch the races, but now there are too many politics involved.
