After having four companies give me an estimate for a new AC unit, there was no question concerning which one to use. Schmidt provided written information from the manufacturer with specs for my needs and a detailed sheet with what was and was not included in my purchase. The estimator was prompt, professional, and friendly as were the workers who installed the unit. The price quoted was slightly better than the next best offer, but it was their knowledge and customer service which most influenced me to use them. WARNING....A company which advertises heavily on TV gave me the absolute worst experience. A sloppily dressed worker, who spent little time looking at my old unit, gave me nothing in writing, only a vague description and a verbal quote that was 25% higher than the next lowest quote.
